SBL March Recap: A Night to Remember with 200+ Sports Business Leaders in Philly

What an incredible night for the Sports Business Leaders (SBL) community! Our March event brought together over 200 professionals from across the sports industry — founders, creatives, executives, and innovators — all under one roof to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of sports.

⚡ A Community That Shows Up

From the start, the energy was electric. SBL regulars like Paul Dixon, Jack Hally, David Lewanda, Asa Saidman, Neil Maskeri, Todd Pride, Luke Stansfield, and Pete Powell were back in full force, proving once again why this network is unlike any other.

We were also thrilled to welcome first-time attendees including Andres Guevara of Marion Street Capital (who, fun fact, introduced SBL co-founders Justin and Jake nearly a year ago!), along with Jeffrey Brandt (CPO), Dominic DiFebo, Benjamin Schlegel, Jessy Kyle, and Jeff Magee — all of whom brought fresh energy and perspective to the evening.

🎤 A Powerful Keynote from Bryan Fetzer

Traveling all the way from Miami, Bryan Fetzer delivered a compelling keynote filled with wisdom from his 28-year journey through coaching, broadcasting, nutrition, and entrepreneurship. Today, he's the founder of PsyOPTIMAL SPORTS, a cutting-edge platform focused on mental performance and mindset training. His talk was a perfect reminder of the evolving intersection between sports and personal development.

🙌 Thank You to Our March Sponsors

Events like these aren’t possible without partners who believe in the mission. Special thanks to:

And of course, Tom Kehoe, Jason Flowers, and the entire Yards Brewing Co. team — thank you for hosting us again at one of Philly’s best venues.

🚀 The Future of Sports Is Now

The sports industry is evolving rapidly — and SBL is here for all of it. Whether it’s tech, NIL, media, or new leagues, Philly is becoming a true epicenter of innovation.

According to SNS Insider, the sports technology market is projected to reach $82.70 billion by 2032, and that momentum was on full display. Leaders like Jessica Brodsky, Sahil Patel, Ed Palumbo, Matthew Delicâte, and Steven Say are blazing trails in this space.

The NIL market alone is expected to surpass $2.5 billion by 2025 — and SBL was proud to welcome local thought leaders like Christopher Sarver, Tanner Maddocks, and Mark R. Koesterer into the mix.

Meanwhile, emerging leagues and teams are making noise:

  • Bryson Craft, MPS of Dink City Pickleball

  • Michael Chauner, founder of World Cycling Limited

  • Evan Harden B.C.H., founder of National Bar League

Your passion, presence, and ideas are pushing the entire industry forward.

Want to Join the Movement?

SBL will be back in Philly later this April — and you won’t want to miss it. Stay tuned for the next event drop, and make sure you’re subscribed to the [SBL newsletter] for updates.

Let’s keep building. The future of sports is ours to create. 💥
